Sometimes you just get across one of those projects generating a big smile on your face. The SANON restaurant in Bagan is one of them. You can have a great meal, in a beautiful garden and in the end by simply showing up you help creating a future for children with a difficult background.

SANON aims to train 30 kids per year, to educate them in the basics of hospitality and they guide them the two years following their graduation.

We came back again and again to serve as their training customers, and we loved it. The local pakoras with spicy tamarind sauce, fried lentils, delicious daily drinks and ice cold beer in a very chill environment; the hard life of a human test tube:)

Please visit the website for more info or in case you like to support them by a donation! The cold beer we will have together afterwards:)
